The new extended campsite at Shannon National Park is simply terrible. I would never camp there and we love camping in the south-west. It has no canopy cover or regenerated forest.. Since reopening the campsite following a fire some time ago, the Shannon campgrounds are a must stay place for your camping/bushwalking/relaxing getaway spot.
